Why a Bed Bug Dog?

Most inspections involve removing all infested items, such as bedding, furniture and carpets, which can be very time consuming, disruptive and expensive. Max, using his keen sense of smell, can detect live bed bugs and viable bed bug eggs with a 98% level of accuracy in a controlled environment. Instead of tearing a room apart and guessing where bed bugs are hiding, Max can find the bed bugs within minutes–making the inspection more accurate and cost-effective compared to traditional detection methods.

Increased accuracy. Human visual inspections are estimated to only be less than 40% accurate, whereas bed bug dogs average a 98% accuracy rate in detecting bed bugs in a controlled environment.

  • Green Pest Management through reduced pesticides and treatment costs.
  • Using a bed bug scent detection canine significantly reduces treatment costs as Max allows for a more targeted approach by pinpointing the exact location of the bed bugs.
  • Proactive inspections. Max provides a proactive approach and peace of mind by conducting regular bed bug inspections at a desired
    time and location.
  • Post-treatment inspections. Max conducts post-treatment inspections to determine if live bed bugs have moved beyond the treatment area.
