School IPM was developed by an Advisory Committee appointed by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture. This committee included Wil-Kil's Operations Manager and Technical Training Director, and it's sole purpose was to develop stringent guidelines for a responsible IPM program that would become standard protocol for controlling pests in all Wisconsin schools. The School [IPM] program was developed with two simple objectives: 1) to control unwanted pests and 2) minimize risks to human health and the environment. The resulting IPM protocol has been put into practice by Wil-Kil Pest Control and is strongly supported by the entire Wil-Kil organization.
