Eau Claire (WQOW) – Thursday, local business leaders gathered to learn how to keep the bed bugs from biting.
Wil-Kil, a local pest management company, held a “Bed Bug Boot Camp“. Businesses were educated on prevention techniques and the importance of inspections. There was even a demonstration of their canine inspection program, where dogs are able to detect bed bugs.

“We can bring the dogs in and actually validate the treatment was successful before anybody goes and sleeps in that bed or whatever. So the canine technology is being used in so many different ways, more people are being proactive and trying to find problems before they get out of hand” says Randy Allen Wil-Kil pest control regional manager.
Wil-Kil says over the past five years there has been a resurgence of bed bugs, one reason is the large amount of people traveling from continent to continent.
