His article, Steps to Accurate and Consistent Documentation, covers some of the most important aspects of documentation when it comes to FSMA regulations. From a pest control perspective, that includes ensuring a Logbook is available and up-to-date, the service reports are complete, the data and pest thresholds are monitored, pest vulnerable zones (PVZ) are inspected and corrective actions take place when necessary. As Shane puts it “Remember that if you didn’t write it down, it didn’t happen in the eyes of the auditor. Be sure every finding is documented with extreme accuracy by your QA and facility team, and by your pest management technician. Detailed reports are the most effective tool in ensuring pest control and protecting your brand.
