Chippewa Falls, Wis., June 30, 2016 – At a ribbon-cutting ceremony held today, Wil-Kil Pest Control, a leader in pest control unveiled the opening of its new state-of-the-art training center located at 4259 N Prairie View Road in Chippewa Falls, Wis. The training center will further pest control training and education for Wil-Kil’s technicians to ensure customers receive the highest quality in pest management solutions.

The new training facility features four modules to allow technicians to receive real-world experience before entering into the field. The modules include the most common pest control sites: a kitchen, grocery store, hotel room and warehouse module. The training facility will also hold different types of pest control equipment to complete proper training and education.

“We are very excited to offer our technicians a facility that allows for proper pest management training in different scenarios. This leading facility is a great compliment to our already extensive training program,” said Shane McCoy, director of quality and technical training for Wil-Kil Pest Control. “The new facility ensures every technician is fully prepared to handle different pest encounters in any situation before going into the field – giving them accurate, real-world experience.”

Wil-Kil’s technician training also includes classroom time,

online learning through Wil-Kil University as well as on-the-job experience throughout their tenure as 2391_resizedemployees.

The event was catered by Bar-B-Q Express and participants enjoyed networking opportunities provided by the Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire Chambers of Commerce. Wil-Kil also made a donation at the event to a local charity, the Community Pantry of Chippewa Falls, to support their mission: “To provide weekly access to sustainable food for individuals and families in Chippewa Falls who are struggling financially.”
